Remember when we were " Canada's Green Province" ( according to our old license plates anyways)...What ever happened to that concept? This is about as far as we can get from being green.

We are trying to teach our children about conservation and NOT to use plastic bottles because of the environmental nightmare they create in their production and disposal. Allowing a water bottling plant on the island is a definite step backwards in promoting the need for humanity to clean up their act and care for the earth. I definitely am not in favour of a water bottling facility in PEI, and would love for the island to put environment responsibility over the need to make money from a natural resource, a recourse which is a basic human right.

I want to continue to drink out of my tap. I don't want to buy water from someone just because he can get away with it. It's time to stand up and protect our natural resources before we don't have any.
