There should be no building on this area. It's a peaceful area and loved by the local community.

Reinvest the money developing brown field sites, and improve current vacant sites, rather than introducing more buildings. One the green belt has gone, its gone forever! Can you live with that on your conscience?

Stop destroying our green to throw up ugly cheap housing! There is so much brown belt around to invest in and develop!

This beautiful green belt area should be left alone for the residents to enjoy, not become another concrete city and take away the countryside for all to enjoy including wildlife.

Destroying green belt space will not only spoil our countryside and impact our wildlife it will most definitely increase the flood risk to properties and communities further down the river. Existing commercial units should be filled first and foremost, this is an unnecessary and dangerous proposal.

Greenbelt land must be preserved. Rossendale already has one of the lowest percentages of tree cover in the country. Villages and homes downstream from the proposed development regularly flood.

The whole of New Hall Hey is ugly, unsightly gateway to Rossendale. Everything from the slanting roundabout, the Berlin Wall, and more recently the cheap sheds being built - some on completely different levels with appalling landscaping and odd sloping car parks. The whole thing has been done on the cheap and looks an eyesore now... goodness knows how bad it will look in future. The first lot should never have been allowed. It’s unthinkable anyone would let more of this rubbish be built here on green belt land.
