1980 USDA Report on Organic Agriculture. “Soil is the source of life. Soil quality and balance are essential to the long-term future of agriculture. Healthy plants, animals and humans result from balanced, biologically-active soil.” This is important to our communities and nation to have confidence in our organic food supply

Organic farming and gardening are akin to taking care of oneself. People have been convinced that products, not truth, make their lives better. The truth of what is happening to the soil, the water, the air is necessary and must become a product that consumers want and need to consume. Corporate stories of truth must be exposed when it is not truth. Truth to power. Power to the people.

With auto-immune problems, eating organic helps my body tremendously. I need to know what I have to purchase are truly organic and not fraudulent. USDA you need help the US citizens be healthier and not side with large corporations where profit margins are more important than people's health

As a long-time environmental lawyer, I am disgusted that the USDA has ignored the law and allows chemical farming to be called “organic”.

I want a healthy vegetable, cow and hen to supply my food. I know even fish are compromised as well. We can do better.

As an organic farmer who started in 1976, before many knew what the term meant, I am appalled that the first principle of 'organic' production is being violated on a national level. Soil is a miraculous source of life and we must always put its health in the center of the organic certifications.

WE OPPOSE DECEPTION. We oppose lying by omission. Without soil, humans will become extinct.

Real organic production happens in living soil. No hydroponic system can immitate what happens in a natural system. Reject hodroponics from the Organic label.

Organic Certification should remain as it was intended, for those that follow the NOP and grow in SOIL.

It's not organic, it's fraudulent.

According to W.H.O. we are far down on the list of functioning health. The Big Food corporations are big reason why.

Inorganic foods are a poison to the human body--the same goes for hydroponically grown mush.

Organic fruits and vegetables are grown in soil, not in an artificially fertilized environment like hydroponics...not hard to understand the difference.

I hate organic garbage. I prefer to have my produce grown free of the smugness of you organic freaks.
