We must protect our wetlands and forests, farms and soils. Any industrial facility must follow zoning laws that we the people have adopted.

Toxifying our precious water dovetails very nicely with the faceless soulless ones efforts to privatize and commodify natures water gifts. This development is a completely revolting and downright unholy betrayal.

These really are beautiful areas, and a resource not just to Upstate New York, but the whole country. Let's protect the natural world!

Our precious water -- some of the best in the world -- is too precious to destroy.

OUr watershed is already suffering from human pressures. This scrap processing facility poses further risk of contamination to an already compromised ecosystem.

For whatever reason, Town officials failed to do their duty. It's time for them to step up, act responsibly and fix their mistake..

Please stop raising the water levels of Lake Ontario and allow for natural development of the local bays and marshlands. I have witnessed the deterioration of these areas personally over the past 55years 7 it's the governments' interference that has caused all this damage. This used to bea great fishing area (Red Creek Marshland Wildlife Mananagment) and now is %95 worse for fishingthan when I was a child fishing there. There ARE better options. Please explore them!
