Reference Planning Notice 25/03093: Change of use of Land to Nature Reserve

You may have seen the Planning Notices offering to turn a field by Heron Way into a Nature Reserve. THIS IS NOT AN ACT OF BENEVOLENCE BUT YET ANOTHER ATTEMPT BY DEVELOPERS TO BUILD IN THE VILLAGE.

In 2016, at Appeal, permission to build the 35 houses in the Martingale Estate ON-CONDITION (19) that an Environmental Offset was created on the grazing land North of Heron’s Way; this is now a protected Green Site in the Neighbourhood Plan.

Despite a Breach of Condition Notice being raised the Landowner/Developers have still not actioned this. Instead, for the 2nd time, they are in the process of subverting this instruction by trying to move the Environmental offset down on to the Flood Plain in order to build more £Million Plus Houses that they can’t sell.

Please sign this Petition to demand that our village Wildlife is protected, that this Application is rejected, that the Breach of Condition Notice is pursued and the Nature Reserve is built where we were promised.
