We enjoyed civil war re-enactments and many other events held at Mt. Zion for 3 decades. Also take visitors to VA there to share our history.

This beautiful site is a historic treasure and must absolutely be protected. I have been touring Loudoun County's attractions for years now and ardently support efforts to preserve the area's heritage.

It is crucial that we maintain open spaces around our historic areas. Men fought and died there. How can we appreciate their loss if all we see is development? We have more than enough strip malls and “ house farms”, one on top of the other. Just because you can see open space, you don’t need to develop it.

More Americans made the ultimate sacrifice in the Civil War than any other war by far. Can we not honor them by protecting the land on which they laid down their lives? There is no war more important to our history than the Civil War. Let’s preserve this site as a way of saying we will never forget the great sacrifices that were made in this war and their impact on our country’s formation

Mt. Zion Church is one of the unspoiled sites in Northern Virginia where blood was spilled during the War Between the States. All who have seen it consider it HALLOWED GROUND AND WE VOTE!
