Protect Luther Forest

This police barracks was placed in this location because of the proximity of the “present command tower.” NYS must understand a RESIDENTIAL NEIGHBORHOOD IS NOT A LOCATION FOR A 180’ cellular tower - just beat they have decimated 3 acres for the barracks, they are now running risk of harm to over 1000 homes falling into proximity of the proposal. FIND ANOTHER LOCATION!!!

I request that NY State in conjunction with our elected representatives of the Town of Malta seek an alternative location for the State Troopers Cell Tower in Malta NY. Concerns about aesthetics, health and property values would justify that action in my opinion.

This is the most ridiculous concept. There is so much land to chose from and politicians chose a housing development.

As a resident of luther forest I was opposed to building the state police barracks at the entrance to our neighborhoods and am doubly opposed to the cell/communication TOWER that does NOT belong in our neighborhood!!

A cell tower in a residential neighborhood, really? Let’s rethink this and erect it in a more suitable location.

The recent intrusions upon the Luther Forest neighborhood are unacceptable. We chose this location specifically for its natural beauty and unique landscape. There are ample locations to place a tower of this kind without further intrusion on our neighborhood. The financial and health impacts that have been clearly noted.

Please put the tower somewhere else!! Anywhere but here!

There are other locations more appropriate for this tower. It does not belong in our neighborhood.

I manage the radio system for the bus company and none of our tower sites co-locate with our radio room. That said they should not put this new tower in a residential area with homes just a few feet away. There a high levels of RF associated with all radio towers. For the health and safety of the immediate residents this tower should be somewhere else and the fiber ran from that location to the new building.

This is a significant and unacceptable risk to our neighborhood !

Please site this tower in a location that will minimize impacts to residents and property owners. As an alternative location has already been identified that has a lesser detrimental impact to the community, it makes more sense to pursue that alternative instead.

Please don't ruin the beauty and the health of Malta residents

The State has made another horrible decision, placing a state police barrack in a rural residential neighborhood. Now they want to make matters worse with the required tower. Perhaps various lawsuits will be necessary to recapture the loss of property values. It should be noted that WE DID NOT VOTE FOR THIS!

It’s bad enough you put a police barracks right in the middle of a busy community, now you want to but a hideous tower within our community as well. This tower has been proven unsafe and would negatively affect our property values, please move it further out.

I am against this tower coming in due to health concerns and property values. This tower needs to be relocated to a more rural area.

When there are viable alternatives to placing a cell tower in or near a residential area, those alternatives need to be used! Not only will the tower adversely affect our property values, more importantly, it's possible it could adversely affect our health. The health impact may still be touted, if there were no health impact, there's no problem; but if there is, it cannot be undone and we will suffer the consequences of your blind eye. WE are not willing to take that risk!!!

This tower should not be placed in a residential area. Given potential health threats and significant loss of property value to the residents, the tower should be placed in a commercial area, not yards away from family homes.

They currently have a very tall tower located behind the current state police barracks on Rt9 less than a quarter mile away. They should continue to use that tower as that area is zoned more appropriately. It would also be a waste of taxpayer dollars to build a new tower.

Tower needs to be located in a more appropriate, non-residential area. We are concerned with our family’s health and safety.
