I fish in texas and have noticed Tawakoni to be by far the best catfish fishery in the state and it needs to kept that way with this petition to conserve and assure that the quality of the trophy blues maintains and stays this way. The slot limit is highly suggested to release the trophies and allow the anglers to take home the "eaters". No need to be taking out trophy class catfish when theres plenty of "eaters" to be taking home to eat.

needs to be state wide or any water over a 1000 acre s in size / to many big cats get waisted because they have been drove around town showing them off the tossed when they draw flys /jmo

How about protecting all the lakes in Texas. These larger cats provide stronger genetics and are a blast to catch. Photo's last a lot longer than harvesting these huge cats!
