As a Professional City Planner, I believe proper zoning and public consultation are extremely important for all users of the space referenced. This is why I have decided to sign this petition. Thank you.

Beware that some of these empty lots /green spaces on the water front historically have a claim against them from original lease holders which were denied the right to rebuild. the Board in the past has ended up being sued and we all end up paying for the mistake

Leave the park the way it is and get rid of these real estate/developers once and for all by putting a moratorium for at least 50 years or forever if possible on any new residential expansion development

Zone them as greenspace. Equal access to the lakefront for all, including our first responders and people with different abilities.

I live at 155 First Avenue and I absolutely disagree with this idea to turn greenspace into residential land.

I think the commissioners made a mistake by designating all of the Infill lots back to residential after the PlanCultus committee said to keep them green space. They also should have done a bit more research and consulted with the community by determining which lots were being used as green space vs what could be potential residential in the future (i.e. the ones not on the waterfront with greenspace)
