I grew up swimming at Cultus lake and could not imagine kids and families in Chilliwack and Sardis not having that opportunity to enjoy the beautiful lake anymore. Along side the river, it is the most unifying community public space in all of Chilliwack.

Cultus Lake is a PARK. Stop trying to make a buck off the little green space there is left.

We support your efforts in stopping these access lanes from becoming residential. They are required for access to the beach for visitors and first responders.

Please designate these lots as NON residential spaces. It only makes common sense. Most of these spaces provide access to lake front for ALL. Why not preserve it now?

I for one do not want to see the green spaces filled in! They make it easier for access to the lake as well as easier access for fire or ambulance access if needed. I would think that filling in these spaces would be a fire hazard. LEAVE THE SPACES AS PARKLAND!
