I've had a friend recently bring something to my attention, religion is a threat to children's health and education. Religious parents can force their kids to attend awful schools, like ones that can force the idea of God and will not teach history or science in a non-educational matter. Parents who are religious can make their children participate in religious activities. If the children choose to not participate w(which their parents can not legally make them) the parents can disown or kick the child out of the house thus making a child homeless. Some children above a certain age can be financially "stable" and declare emancipation, but in turn creates a broken start to adulthood sometimes.
