Trammell Crow Company and Merrillville Town Council want to build warehouse(s) / "Light Manufacturing" in High School Heights (Skinner / Halsted / Santry). This will also affect Forest Hills, Chapel Manor, and Turkey Creek. The planned entrance to this facility will be off of 73rd Ave. The facility will have room to accommodate 200+ semi trucks and several hundred cars.

Please sign this Petition to say NO!! to industrial rezoning of our neighborhood. Help protect the residents, families, and all of the students who attend Merrillville High School & Pierce Middle School.

We ask that only residents of Merrillville, IN sign this so that we may present it in good faith to Town Council.

Against the light, noise, and air pollution this will put into a residential neighborhood and High School bordering this proposed warehouse site.

Do not inter mix residential with industrial. You refused GFS the ability to house their trucks when they built their store on 30 because of noise to homes....and now you wanna bother homes with 200 hundred trucks.......

This is an unsafe option for high school students walking home. It's a known fact that tractor trailers (semi trucks) take longer to stop and have more and larger blind spots than a regular car. Teenagers are not known for their ability to take caution. This seems a deadly combination.

ABSOLUTELY NOT! The area near the high school and middle school needs to remain residential. The truck traffic and potential noise that close to our schools is totally unnecessary. This is not the image we want for our town.

You already have all the warehouses along Mississippi. You have an EMPTY, never used, warehouse behind Menards! Do NOT let this occur!

Please do not allow this- our kids play sports next to that and there is enough pollution coming from the highway
