Are they high? Since Ennis was awarded Irelands first and only information age town in 1997 (to the tune of £15Million) the town as a whole has failed to embrace the monetisation of such an opportunity. As a result there have been little or no concessions or indeed tangible supports for new, existing or potentially sustainable businesses. You know what? Vote with your feet where possible and move your business to Limerick or Galway. That'll teach them. Idiots.

Ridiculous, they haven't a clue. It will ruin business in the town & there will be no businesses left or very few left & so less money will be generated for them. Always thinking of short term gain & not long term. Needs rethinking & undoing.

This is a typical decision by people who have zero clue how difficult it is to have a business in a small town. The rates should have gone down through the recession but they didn't now they have the cheek to try and increase them. It's a joke and it will close many small businesses.
