We must keep the staff safe and secure. There must be better guidelines in place.

Agreed! We should not have to fear for our safety, our lives, or those of the Vets we care for.

ABSOLUTELY !! OUR ER'S SHOULD HAVE METAL DECTECTORS, AND SHOULD ALWAYS HAVE LIMITED LOCKED PIV ACCESS DOORS INTO THE UNIT AND INTO THE MAIN HOSPITAL. EVERYONE'S LIVES AND SAFETY SHOULD ALWAYS COME FIRST! I KNOW I WOULD FEEL A LOT BETTTER KNOWING THESE SAFTEY MEASURES WERE TAKEN SERIOULY, AND ARE IMPLEMENTED INTO OUR FACILITY.

As healthcare workers, we need to be able to concentrate on patient care and not have to worry about if we are safe or are we going to get hurt on this job.

Keep our health workers safe! We shouldn't have to have one of them get shot before action is taken!
