I had been hoping for an advocate like Dr Umar Johnson ever since I discontinued my employment with Los Angeles U.S.D. in 2002. While I worked for two years as a substitute in special education, I had observed the disparities between Black children and their counterparts within the schools, particularly in special education.

I have been following Dr. Umar Johnson for at least 10years now. He had tirelessly worked/volunteered his time to assist families in the community that have children, specifically boys diagnosed with ADHD, LD, Autism and Behavioral problems. I have son who is Autistic, LD and suffers from Mental Illnesses as well. He has had and continues to have profound impact on all issues plaguing families in today's society. It would a tragedy to lose him and all of his knowledge in his fields of expertise. Please allow Dr. Umar to continue to work with people/ families in our community. In today's society he is much need and again has had such a profound impact.

Dr. Umar has helped my family tremendously and we are forever indebted and thankful to have him in our community. He has our full support! Please do not take away his certification that he has earned and worked so hard for. His certification allowed for him to gain many years of experience and expertise working with our youth. The knowledge that he has obtained from said experience has prevented issues arising for my family. Thank you for your consideration in this matter.
