No, it's not resolved. I don't think anyone ever tries to resolve it except the people you see here. It's already 7:50pm now and they are still operating heavy equipments which make disturbing noise. It's been months like this. I wasn't informed about this construction at all when I first moved in.

Hi, I am looking to move into this complex at the beginning of next year. Has this issue been resolved? Should I stay away from here? Appreciate your advice. Thanks!

Seems like an 8am start time and prohibiting work on weekends would be a good compromise

@Janet - what are the next steps here. Are you pursuing legal action?

Yeah this was the worst...like I could live with 6AM starts to 5PM and just...deal with it I guess (even that is hard because all the amenities are closed so there's no where to work...) But the fact that the flood lights are on shining directly into the entire east side of the building...like c'mon. That can't be necessary for security.

Great job firing up a petition. It is totally impacting my day life including working from home and sleeping quality, as they start working as early as 7 am. I am respectful for construction workers, as they are doing their job. But living in this environment is painful. I am shaking my head, and don't know what to do.

Definitely have seen the noise climb to 90dB for a couple of hours or so even with the windows closed.

I will be moving out at the end of my lease next month due to the noise. It is unacceptable, especially considering what we pay for these apartments.

Completely agree. In this pandemic, more people are working from home- this impacts our ability to work. Also, I should point out, I seldom see workers wear masks while in the construction zone. They put them on before entering or exiting but not while in- you are contributing to this pandemic!

Arras could do better to manage the hazardous situation and complaints from their residents.

I live in Building 2 and the noise does impact my daily life. I did hear the machine noise in the late night, and the construction noise during the day is also preventing me from being productive. I wasn't informed about all these when I first signed the lease.

This has greatly impacted my work and life now that we need to work from home due to COVID-19.

I am really glad that you made this petition. The lights shine into my apartment at night all night and I can also hear really loud annoying sounds also very late at night. There is also a light that flashes repeatedly(like a strobe light)and that also flashes into my apartment and it’s absolutely unnecessary.
