If Stroud can NOT kill (Cull) then I see absolutely no reason for you not to follow suit.

I am shortly to move to the country and would like to think that my local Council is a protector of wildlife. Please consider the alternative strategy and cease this 'shotgun' slaughter on our beautiful land.

No one has the right to wipe out a whole species of wildlife for economic reasons - and without even TRYING vaccination first!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Culling badgers is inhumane and inefficient, many leading scientists have told us that this is just not working. PLEASE let us try vaccinating instead, it's working elsewhere, let's give it a try.

Vaccination is the only alternative. The Cotswolds has a chance to make a real difference by adopting and assisting in these local projects.

Don't let this sickening, barbaric fiasco come to the Cotswolds.
The cull had no scientific basis, was shady, underhand and corrupt. Paterson daren't even release the Independent Report.
Let the Cotswolds join the band of decent, forward-thinking councils, who have voted to reject this criminal fiasco.

The botched cull was not only cruel and unnecessary, but a scandalous waste of tax payers' money. A vaccination programme makes so much more sense (for cattle too!) so please support this. Badgers are part of our ecological system and are beautiful creatures. There is no real proof that TB starts with them, and not with cattle. We must preserve these animals, who I believe are "protected" anyway? Help to end this brutality, please.
