Protect Corner Coffee Cafe...Lower speed limit and put up guardrails!

My family developed the land across the street from the Corner Cafe in the late 60's/early 70's for our RV Business, K & R Trailer Sales & Rentals. I saw just how dangerous that curve is first hand and there have been no visible safety improvements in the 45+ years since then. Time for the Hamilton County Traffic and Safety folks to protect the citizens from demonstrated dangerous conditions. A sharp curve at the end of a long straightaway that has had multiple accidents, do we have to wait until people die ? I sure hope not.

As a regular patron, I truly think about my safety when I come here. Sure, I could easily enjoy a lunch out elsewhere, but that begs the question of why a poorly designed road and apparantly callous disregard of traffic safety on the part of heavy trucks traveling through the area are tolerated by public officials. This isn't just an accident waiting to happen. Accidents have happened--thankfully with no people hurt. But that could change. Far too easily.
