Pain just doesn't go away. Why hinder ones ability to be out working n caring for their families?
Patients need to be ACCOUNTABLE n responsible for their medications.
This Epidemic is a Illegal/Illicit/Fentynal/Carfentanil/Heroin Epidemic!!!
If it were from Pain Patients, we would all be dead from overdoses by now......why are so many pain patients still alive???? Dosent make sense does it??

I am a chronic pain patient. My pain meds make it possible for me to work and live a somewhat normal life. I tried alternatives before taking the drugs that's why I take them. Nothing else works. Without the meds the pain is extreme and relentless. Taking my meds away will not help against the illegal drug overdoses. Heroin and fenynal are more to blame.
Please don't subject people to literal torture by denying them the only thing that helps against their pain.

Your therapies can only do so much, and the other non pain meds don't really do much, for many of us!What a joke!!Might as well give people a sugar pill and call it a day! I guess many don't care because it's not THEM who are SUFFERING! It's not them who have NO life now, because they can barely function, let alone do anything enjoyable with their lives! This is why WE are killing ourselves. Only actual addicts matter, right.Oh,and filling people's pockets with $ they make from SUBOXINE! If they really didn't want people to die, they'd put more effort into getting HEROIN AND FENTYNAL off the streets! Not attacking, and PUNISHING INNOCENT chronic pain patients! This is VERY cruel, barbaric, and against human rights!!Go after the REAL addicts, not us!

Stop abusing those who seek relief from pain. Medical science has been around for thousands of years and not once has it been a problem until government get involved.

I will do anything to help all of us with chronic pain. The suffering needs to stop. The pain is horrendous. The DEA needs to leave the Drs
Alone and focus on the real problem illegal drugs like heroin with fentynel this is what is taking the lives. Scripts have gone down and overdose rates have gone up. They are making the weak suffer and drug dealers profit. This is like prohibition it didn't wrk then and bit won't work now either. Leave the disabled and vets alone.

Pain relieving opioids for folks suffering from constant severe incurable pain conditions (i.e., CRPS, RSD, etc) are often the only thing that allows them to live and function..they do not abuse these meds and deserve to be allowed to continue having access to them! It's inhumane to restrict their availability!

We're not addicts we're Pain patients. We adhere to monthly UA's, pain contracts, pill counts.Plus being bullied monthly by pharmacist. Majority of us have disability diagnosis that arent visible so we are treated inhumanely. Please keep the government out of the Doctor's offices. And don't Punish doctor's who try to help chronic pain patients

No one other than doctors and patients should be making these decisions. And no one should be forced to taper their pain medication. So many that are NOT addicts have been functional and stable for many years to have their lives taken away by people who don't even know them and their personal medical history. This is evil on every level.Chronic/ intractable incurable pain patients already have to deal with a life sentence now we are fighting our own government trying to play doctor. The limits and guidelines already in place have not helped addiction or overdoses yet our policy makers, insurance companies keep lieing to American citizens saying that legal prescribing is fueling addiction and overdoses. Pallative care must include intractable incurable pain and all doctors must have power to exempt these patients to meet the need.
