Silver Creek is an essential part of the community. Its value is far greater than any profit from selling the land. Please do not sell this property - it would be short term gain for VERY long term pain for all of those who need this type of school.

Silvercreek was the first school my daughter attended after we got her Diagnosis of CP. I could not imagine a better start to her school career! Silvercreek supported her and our family in countless ways and helped to point us in the right direction to find the services we needed to help her live life to the fullest.

I live down the street from Silver Creek Nursery school, and volunteered there for about a year. I was absolutely shocked when I heard that the land could be potentially sold and a series of housing developments would be put in its place. Silver Creek is such a wonderful school, and an essential part of the Etobicoke community. That school has been helping children and families for years. It would be heartbreaking if this land was sold and used for condos. The community would not only loose an amazing school but also one of the few green spaces this city has left.

There just isn't enough help for people that cannot help themselves, in Toronto, let alone Canada. The little help we have we need to keep.

Silvercreek provides an essential service to the most vulnerable of populations, which is otherwise sorely lacking in the city. It is a crime that a place like this should be forced to move.

I am opposed to the sale of Silver Creek school. My son attended in 1995-1998 and we considered ourselves fortunate to have such an amazing place right in our community? The staff and volunteers are the most exceptionally caring people you could ever meet. Silver Creek pre-school deserves to stay in its home for the past 40 years. There must be a way to get us off the list of schools to be closed!

This is a great cause and these children need this type of service. To take that away from them would be cruel, unjust and inhumane. None only for the children but the parents who rely on this type of service. Save the school!

Do Not sell this school. You claim your goal is to put families first. Selling the school is not putting families first.
