It's not a daycare to drop your kids at when you are at work. These are children that are at risk and in need of special services they can't get elsewhere. We need more spaces like this, not less.

this has been an amazing positive space for our entire family. Please reconsider the decision to shut it down as you would be hurting so many famies

The programs provided by the Silver Creek Pre-School and the Etobicoke Children's Centre play an incredibly important role in not only the lives of the children and families they serve but in the community as a whole.

Every day, and well into the evening, the halls of this 'empty' school ring with the sounds of laughing and learning. The work that both Silver Creek and the Etobicoke Children's Centre do helps children and their families feel welcome in their community. These children benefit from the stable, symbiotic environment that has developed at Silver Creek School.

Silver Creek Pre-school has 40 years at this location, this speaks volumes for the service provided. Don't sell off public space that houses two vital organizations that serve children and families.

Save Silver Creek School. It saddens me that in todays society we make great strides in the education and services and then, when it comes time to cut costs, repairs, etc schools like Silver Creek are the first to be cut. I don't think we're in Canada anymore. Please stop the sale of Silver Creek school and green space.

A place that can not only enhance the lives of children and families but also inspire the next generation of health workers needs to remain in all our lives.

Silver Creek is the reason I am pursing a career in Occupational Therapy. The love and compassion each of the staff showed to me and the children and their families was endless. A truly self-described place full of generosity.

See you all on the 26th. Question of the day: WHO put Silver Creek on the potential sale list? We were off. Then we were one of 21 buildings. Then we are the first of 5 buildings up for a vote by the Trustees. And 2 of the 5 buildings on this list serve children with extra support needs. This does not smell good.
