By signing my name below, I do solemnly state to all elected and appointed officials of the State of New Jersey that

Burlington Island should never again be used as a site, in any and all cases, for the dumping of dredge spoils.

Burlington Island, a part of the Green Acres protected land program, is and should remain a sanctuary for the

nesting eagles along with the vast array of bird, animal and aquatic life that make the Island home. Even more

importantly, the Island contains multiple Native American Sacred Burial sites that require our honor and respect in

perpetuity. Burlington Island should never again be desecrated by the dumping of spoils but rather to be treasured

as a beautiful and integral part of American history.

I LOVE kayaking & hiking around & on Burlington Island & learning about it's HISTORY! Please don't dredge & dump - use DUCK ISLAND for that instead!

Leave the island alone it has changed so much from what it was when you used to dump before Bald eagles are very sensitive to any change and I know of at least one pair nesting theee

As long as the A.C.O.I. dump on the island no one wants to invest in our 400 acres of lovely nature.

This island is historic, valuable to the community, and furthermore it houses a KNOWN BALD EAGLE NEST. Dredging onto this island would not only be catastrophic to the locals that enjoy the wildlife, but it would also ruin any chances of our Nation’s national (and PROTECTED) raptor returning.
