We need to do what is necessary to enhance biodiversity, and since fragmentation of wildlife habitat is one of the major causes of species extinction, it is vitally important to provide wildlife corridors for all species. Roads are essentially "rivers of death" and so we need to support and develop ways to allow wildlife to "cross the river" safely!

Please prioritize wildlife connectivity and planning in future projects. Prioritize safe crossings in known hot spots. ODOT should budget for wildlife connectivity and safety.

As Deschutes county grows, it's vital to make sure people watch out for wildlife by slowing down in migration areas and visible warning signs.

Under and overpasses for wildlife work all over the world and here in Central Oregon. We need more as the population explodes, habitat decreases and traffic increases.

Protect wildlife habitat by restricting urban encroachment, and support under-highway corridor construction!

I support taking equal consideration of wildlife needs as human transportation needs

Migratory corridors are essential for deer, elk, and other species health and balance! We need to protect ecosystems from human disturbance and fragmentation.

I have toured the Animal Migration sights south of Bend and the appear to work well both for wildlife and auto traffic.

Please protect our wildlife and support known and effective solutions for wildlife crossings.

We are responsible to care for our wildlife. I support wildlife crossings in Deschutes County.

Part of the meaning of life is to care for others - including our fellow beings.

Wildlife Over passes exist and are effective in Utah, Canada and locations where their effectiveness is proven. The cost is worth every penny spent. We are "on board".......give critters a way to navigate the human traffic corridors.

FROM CANADA TO CENTRAL OREGON, THE STUDIES ARE SHOWING WILDLIFE CROSSINGS ARE LIFE-PROTECTING AND COST EFFECTIVE.

With all the growth in CO, wildlife habitat connectivity is a MUST, or we risk losing one of the qualities that makes this area great! Mule dear populations are already far below where they should be - please do make this a priority.
