This is silly and a huge waste of money and resources given the number of purpose built facilities in the area. How about Bristol Airport?

Wrong location. This would be detrimental to the local area and existing residents.

A frankly absurd idea to put a helicopter base in a village location so close to a residential area. Planning for development of these green belt areas has been refused before so lets just pray that the planners see sense & refuse this application outright!

No matter what information is put on the application form, no location is more unsuitable than Almondsbury. It's a residential area in protected greenbelt.
Anyone who spends 10 minutes on google to search for "helicopter base in residential area" will find significant amount of published material on disastrous effect of this proposal on residents' lives. The damaging effect is unbelievable!

Don't forget, we will be able to see all the details of the planning application when it is submitted at the end of the month online at SGS. It will be interesting to read the "independent noise report" and see the list of all the 40 odd sites that were rejected, almondsbury being the only one that ticked all the boxes....

I am fully confident that the only reason this is being built by us is that developers don't want it in Filton. Simple as that.

The idea of putting a helicopter landing site near residential developments is frankly absurd. The police site at Filton was not viable for this very reason as homes are being built within location. The proposed site in Almondsbury is in open countryside and development here is restricted for general use, so why does this not apply here. Almondsbury is a small village where light pollution (no street lights) is not considered acceptable or wanted, so the thought of two helicopters taking off and landing at all hours so close to housing is at best inconsiderate and will have considerable impact to local community. I am sure that there must be places further up the M5 which are not so populated in or in such close proximity to houses and urge the parties involved to look again.

Why destroy a greenbelt residential area when there is a functioning base already in place and two local full functioning airport available as alternatives!

Far too close to houses to have a noisy helicopter base.

If they're too noisy for your new development they're too noisy for our village
