Whereas the Chief and Council of Pikwakanagan have failed to resolve Pikwakanagan members' concerns regarding the currently proposed Agreement in Principle (AIP), and Whereas the Chief and Council have failed to ensure that all Pikwakanagan First Nation members are eligible to formally vote on the proposed AIP, and Whereas Status members of the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan believe that the currently proposed AIP contains provisions that violate their rights, and Whereas the currently proposed AIP contains provisions that will result in a Final Agreement which will be overly detrimental to the best interests of the membership of the the Algonquins of Pikwakanagan, particularly those resident on the First Nation, and Whereas the Chief and Councillors of Pikwakanagan have refused to demonstrate their support for the proposed AIP,

Therefore, we the undersigned First Nation members of Pikwakanagan do hereby reject the currently proposed Agreement in Principle (AIP) as initialled by Robert Potts on behalf of the Algonquins of Ontario (AOO) on May 29, 2015, and demand that Chief Kirby Whiteduck and the Council immediately terminate Pikwakanagan's participation in the ratification of this and/or any AIP until such time as the above concerns have been rectified.
