According to news articles, there was at least one allegation against him in 2024. We would like to know why it was not investigated at that time. Or, if it was investigated, what were the findings?

An additional request should be added: ACPS must directly notify the parents or guardians of every student known to have interacted with Mr. Swiney in a school-related capacity. Parents have a right to know when their child may have been exposed to potential harm and should not have to rely on public announcements or news reports to receive that information. Transparency with affected families must be a required part of the district’s response.
