Hunting is critical to wildlife management. I have hunted in Alberta and BC, and contributed more than $30,000 (US) to the Canadian economy from 2 hunts. I have 2 more trips planned this year alone. I am one person. Imagine the impact that thousands of hunters have on the Canadian economy.

Please do not close the hunting as it serves local economies and fosters game management and restoration efforts. These wildlife resources are a value and the valuation is increase by hunting interests. Without this valuation wildlife, restoration, balanced management, and sportsmen tourism will be undermined. Outdoors sportsmen can be the best advocates for conservation and sound sustainable management.

Please fight for legal and ethical sport hunting in your fabulous country. It helps the wildlife and brings outside revenue into your country which helps associated residents and others!

I am a hunter and conservationist. I respect the Province from limiting or banning hunting certain species, provided that the limitation are set to establish or control a sustainable number of species for future hunting purposes.

The banning of hunting has been death blow to the conservation efforts anywhere it has been done in the past. Hunter dollars are what funds the science behind conservation success stories. Botswana is trying to figure out how to stop poaching and the killing of elephants that raid crops. They devalued the animals with the hunting ban. They are now viewed as a liability when they could be beneficial to all. Sad.

I am a BC resident, conservationist, and hunter. Hunters have always been in the forefront of conservation, and that remains true today. Eroding wildlife management and hunting will adversely affect wildlife conservation in the province.
