Protect a Person's Right to Hunt and Fish

Everyone should be allowed to hunt and fish for food.

While I will sign this petition, I must ask where the Dallas Safari Club was when we asked for help with the case that set the precedent for this anti-hunting move. Seems pretty lame and ridiculous to try to close the door after the horse is gone. Good luck with the B.C. legislature, but the bureacracy will not allow this to even get to the legislature. Mark my words!!

To whom it may concern: I am a lifelong hunter and active international traveler including international hunting in my travels. I have made many trips to Canada and love and enjoy it. I want to speak up for the right to ethically hunt and for the important role in the conservation of wildlife and wild places that hunters play throughout North America and around the world.

Hunting is a way of life, an instinctual habit, a conservation tool, a friends and family event, and provides millions of dollars to the B.C. economy. The thought of removing hunting from the B.C. culture cannot be allowed.

I am hunting mt goat and moose in BC this year. Would love option for Grizzly.

I support all well regulated, sustainable use, ethical hunting of any species to help in their survival and their environment and therefore, support hunting of Grizzly Bear in British Columbia, Canada.

These are basic God given rights that are not only invaluable in protecting our wildlife through sustainable use conservation through hunting but also pass down not only our proud outdoor heritage, they instill ethics and responsibility so devoid in so much of society these days.

In this age of acceptance and tolerance, my hunting heritage and rights should not be under constant attack. One of the oldest activities to the human race, and yet one of the few things people can attack without being labeled a Bigot.

Hunting and fishing are the two remaining ways that people can maintain or reconnect to our natural environment...they need to be enshrined or risk complete disconnect from the real world

Preserving hunting and fishing for future generations is just common sense.
