Protect a Person's Right to Hunt and Fish

Please keep grizzly bear hunting open in BC.

I sign this petition to request a second reading and debate regarding Honourable House call bill M211.

I’ve been there and there certainly is no shortage of bears

Hunters are some of the greatest conservationist on the planet. Your intent to pan bear hunting will hunt the bears and not help them.

The hunting industry is responsible for wildlife protection and funds the research necessary for sustainable resource use. The economic impact on the Provence is positive and many British Columbian residents benefit from sustainable use hunting.

It’s our right to hunt and fish , it’s a large part of our family food and we enjoye the outdoors , we support wildlife not only to harvest but also to see it’s future. If hunters, fishermen, and trappers where not her to manage our wildlife there would be none

The importance of hunting rights as it applies to conservation and overall wildlife health and success cannot be overstated!

Maintain the right to hunting and fishing open in British Columbia

Hunting and fishing are every bit as much a cultural and traditional right to me as they are to First nations. I would expect the same protection.

The fundraising option is for the petition site, not the petitioners.

I have personally spent several weeks in BC over the last couple years North of Dease Lake. The amount of Mountain Grizzly is unbelievable, between this predator and wolf we rarely see any Mountain Caribou Calves. I have witnessed them on Moose kills and there are multiples of Grizzly in every valley. I am sure they affect Stone Sheep populations as well. Had one attempt to bust into a cabin, had another sniff me in another remote cabin. Unchecked, these will quickly become even a larger problem and without a monetary value likely be shot and left in place as they become problem bears

Hunting regulations should be based on science, not politics.

This should be open to debit, should it not?

Please do NOT add any hunting restrictions in BC. I go there to hunt in approx 6 wks. And will spend approx 10k. Further restrictions added and I’m very unlikely to ever return.

I support grizzly hunting & hunting other species in B.C.

I have spent lots of money in BC, hunting and fishing. It would a tragic loss for sportsman and sporting industry to lose this treasure . Freedom

This is a way of life for me having been raised on wild meat and having raised my children on wild meat and my grandchildren are being raised on wild meat.

It has always been our right and should always remain our right it is the natural way of life
