The legislature needs to reconsider its position on hunting in general and girizzlies specifically. Animals are a renewable resource and should be managed as such.

I am a BC Native and have been hunting and fishing with my father, who has been hunting and fishing with his father, all my life. Its tradition ingrained in Canadian history and must be protected so our future generations can have the same opportunities we have to enjoy the great outdoors.

All hunting in BC is well managed, and there were no facts or data to backup the grizzly bear ban. The grizzly bear hunt ban and any other hunting bans put forth by the current government are strictly political pandering towards the green party and left leaning voters in the lowermainland.

Hunting is a vital part of conservation. Land managers and game biologists utilize hunting as a management tool. It is irresponsible to take away one of the most important management tools that professionals in the natural resource management field have. Allow the manangers to make sound decisions based off their expertise instead of portion of the citizens who are anti-hunting.
