Protect a Person's Right to Hunt and Fish

I’ve hunted in BC twice. I hope I’m always able to.

By reinstating the legal hunting of grizzlies in British Columbia, wildlife managers can effectively manage grizzly populations. Please reconsider the legal hunting of grizzly. The management of wildlife should be based from scientific data and not the voice of uneducated masses.

Hunting and fishing should be protected for all races not just first nations

Hunting and fishing should be a fundamental right in Canada protected by legislation.

Our wildlife must be managed on sound science not by apolitical decision, by doing so other animals down the food chain pay the price.

Legislation such as hunting certain species should be left up to the Ministries Dept./Fish & Wildlife Branch ( People who understand conservation). HUNTING IS CONSERVATION!

If the best conservation Is what our goal is then we need manage them based on science not emotion.

There is no reason to ban hunting anywhere, hunting is conservation.

Hunting and fishing should be protected for all races not just first nations

There is no substitute for intelligent and scientific conservation. Don't cave to unwise, emotional opinions and decisions.

I hunted Northern BC in 2007 for Grizzly and we saw numerous Grizzly and Black bears daily. After hunting for app. five days we harvested a 22 year old boar Grizzly. This was a memorable experience which remains with me . In the area we were hunting there certainly was no shortage of bears. One resident guide actually harvested a Grizzly after mine was taken.

Bears will not fear humans unless they are hunted. There are ample populations of grizzly to support a sport hunt.
