Let the biologists determine huntable populations not polititions and the uninformed

Hunting, together with sound wildlife management, is necessary for the well-being of BC's grizzly population.

I do not have any intention of hunting bears in BC, but banning grizzly bear is wrong and will have ecconomic and predation consequences beyond the comprehention of those who appose it. Do not allow banning of Grizzly bear to become such a big problem.

Bears are pretty much solitary animals, if you don't manage them with hunts (or expensive relocations of excess animals), they will start intruding into populated areas. This will mean not only pets disappearing, but people actually dying!!!

There’s to many grizzlies out there.

Every big game animal needs to be managed. Hunters will be more than willing to do that management for our governments and be happy doing it as well as pay for it! Having governments manage our big game costs every tax payer money that can be generated by hunters and tag fees! Let’s smarten up BC your not California!

Please make your decision on good scientific facts.

Please manage the wildlife resources under your care according to the basic principles of wildlife management and not public opinion. Do the responsible thing.

Your outfitters do a great job managing the wildlife within their concessions. The department of fish and game also, seems proactive with their census and allotments. Please, let’s don’t let the uninformed non hunters push legislation that will actually decrease the number of game animals that you have in your wonderful province!

Manage the grizzly bears. Use sound game management practices (hunting) and there will be grizzly bears for many generations to enjoy.

Leave these decisions to the professional game managers. Emotions have no place in deciding legal issues.

Stop hunting Grizzlies will only lower the bear overall population. As the boars that are usually the bears harvested by hunting, will now be killing off the cubs in order to breed with the sows. Proper game management is the key and hunting is the best tool available for health populations.
