I am a fan of conservation and protecting our unique biodiversity so that our grandchildren and future generations can enjoy the experiences of hunting and fishing.

The vast majority of people do not engage in the sport of hunting and most do not understand that hunters put back much more than they ever take which has been, and always will be great news for wildlife. Over the years, the many hunter-based, conservation organizations in North America have contributed millions and millions of dollars to support wildlife and wildlife habitat. So to be told by people WHO DO NOT HUNT, that it is now socially unacceptable, for us that do, to hunt Grizzly bears, is nothing but the tyranny of the majority, for political correctness. Where is the science behind the decision? The correct answer is: There is none..

Hunting and fishing is a right of all people in BC. Hunting and fishing needs to be managed based on science, nothing else.

Hunting is a right. It also is fantastic for conservation. Hunting is not necessarily about the harvest. The experience and many benefits provided by the sport are primary reasons to continue the activity.

Please allow this great opportunity for conservation, adventure, and tradition. With quality management approaches we can still hunt and maintain a healthy population

There would be more conservation and animal/fish numbers would be up if all members of society in Canada were regulated. No hunting means no hunting. It’s a crock of BS that animals that are only allowed to be hunted by indigenous people and not other hunters. If all hunters were placed on the same level and regulations for all harvesting there would be a significant increase in animals

Hunting needs to be managed based on science and not emotion.

Please allow bear hunting so that renewable resource can be properly managed through hunting and funds from hunting.

Stopping bear hunting was one of the stupidest things your government has done. It will end up costing millions of dollars for the government to properly regulate and manage the over growth of Bear in BC.

Hunting is a right and if you live in a condo waiting to die... mind your own business or someone might come to your place and take your food away!

Need to stop letting seasons close because of people who don't believe in hunting and fishing. It is a way of life. Always has been always will be.

Please allow legal hunting of brown bears in Canada whose populations are superabundant and will claim lives of innocent Canadians unless controlled by hunting. Please be aware that powerful sensational wealthy donate now antihunting bully animal rights groups are duping wildlife agencies to ban hunting based on unscientific misinformation in order to reap more donations. Brown bears need hunting to control populations and protect Canadians. Thank you. CJones

I would much rather be out in nature hunting and fishing with my family than stuck in the city like all these people who disagree with people who hunt and fish. Please don't take away our rights
