All Kalispell roundabouts (including those in commercial parking lots) are a debacle and complete waste of taxpayer funds. The alternative bypass (presumably to encourage semi trucks from using Main Street) are not conducive to semi truck use as they slow to try to negotiate around the traffic lane obstruction - infuriating other drivers using that roadway. The Park, the hill, the historic nature of the Woodland Ave. area should NOT be corrupted by months of construction of another useless roundabout. Use the money to patch the existing potholes !

I oppose any new roundabouts anywhere in the city of Kalispell. The current roundabouts do not serve the purpose they were supposedly intended for. The roundabout on Stillwater Drive has a large dome of dirt in the middle with several dead trees in it so that you can not see a vehicle coming from the opposite direction. Also, people do not understand how to use them. Many times when I have been in a roundabout, someone will enter right in front of me, obviously not understanding that a vehicle already in it has the right of way. DO NOT BUILD ANYMORE ROUNDABOUTS IN KALISPELL!!!!

I grew up in this town and never have had any problems with the intersection there. Roundabouts cause more problems than they are worth. I refuse to drive the 93 bypass for that reason.
