This would be a complete and utter disruption to our safe and peaceful neighborhood. Many young families live here and chose this neighborhood because of it’s idyllic setting and safety for children. By the way - we also already pay enough in taxes.

Truly shocked at how a proposal like this has not been appropriately vetted nor discussed with the residents who are most affected.
I don't understand why this board feels a responsibility--in a "time is of the essence" timeline- to preserve an old house. Nowhere in the charter of the village is this a stated duty.

Absolutely disgusting how the Village Board has conducted themselves. Where is the accountability and transparency to the village residents/taxpayers?

Clearly more information should be disseminated to the residents prior to action by the Village
