Yes, Fr. Ian is the reason for my entire family's transformation and encounter with Jesus Christ. He's my spiritual director.
I wish that he is given an extension, at least for a couple of months after the reopening of church to help bring back the people to church.

Father Ian Taylor had done so much for the youths of this parish! In particular my cousin who was deep in his faith due to father Taylor a year before his passing. Because of father Taylor's spirit in Tunapuna where he used to attend before his death encouraged and gave so much to these youths which are our future! Please please don't remove him. He means a lot to this parishioners. We can't afford to have people moving away from the church at this point if he is moved. We are already so attached to the way he moves us spiritually during mass.

Honestly in my years of going to church,I have never came across a priest with more enthusiasm than father Ian when it comes to teaching the word. He just makes you want to come to church,he adds life and passion in everything he says.

Fr. Taylor has been a pillar of strength for many parishioners. He has helped the youths to remain on the straight and narrow path leading to a relationship with Our Lord Jesus Christ. It would be a tragedy if Fr. Taylor leaves the St. Charles Parish. I endorse full, that Fr. Taylor remains our Parish Priest.

So requesting a particular priest isn't as selfish? I see no wrong in the petition and fully endorse it! It's also very out of place to suggest the feelings of others should been seen or liken to that of "little children. " Very disrespectful indeed! Nevertheless, we are all entitled to our own opinions and should feel free to voice them!

Fr. Ian Taylor has been very instrumental in me becoming more spiritually grounded and religious active. I use to come to church but never participated in any groups. He visited my home one Christmas with 4 young ladies and sharing about the youth group. I was blown away because I never knew a youth group existed with such wonder young people especially Thea Roberts and J'Lani. So I joined the youth group then I found out about Jesus Explosion and at the time I was unemployed and sat in the back because I did not want anyone to ask if I was going because I was ashamed to share my status. The Holy Spirit spoke out through Fr. Taylor and he walked up to me asking if I had tickets for my son and I and I shamefully said no. He told Sarah to give me tickets and half the cost of our tickets would be paid for by our parish. In shock I got home and shared with my mom only for her to say she will pay the other half. I have more stories to share of Fr. Taylor and though he does not know I depend on him and the youth group which he is a part of. Please don't take him away from me. I still need time to grow and he has the keys to unlock my growth journey at this time.
