Proposed Subway Elevator Structures in NYPD Frozen Zone

I oppose this idea!

Security Risk!

This is a safety risk for the people in the building.

Are you kidding? Do not allow this nonsense.

Structure will look awful on such iconic landmark street!!!

Let alone offensive to such a historic part of our city, how is this safe inside a restricted zone??? Do not build!

I strongly oppose the placement of two subway elevator structures at 15 and 30 Broad Street as a "give back" for 45 Broad Street to build higher• - Proposed elevator structures will be in the NYPD “frozen security zone” where vehicles and hand carts must be screened, so this poses a security risk (someone can bypass security screening using the elevator from another station - •Proposed structure will be on one of the only landmarked streets in the city - •The Fulton Street Station is one stop away from the proposed elevators – there are significant accessibility gaps in other parts of lower Manhattan that can benefit more from accessible stations - •There are many other “give backs” that the community wants/needs (e.g. Schools, parks, trash removal solutions

I think it is completely rediculous that an elevator is being put in front of my building without so much as a hearing with the people who live there. To make matters worse, it's an insult that this is being put in front of my building as a "give back" from another building (45 Broad) which is an eye sore to begin with. It is clear that the Warren Wilhelm (AKA DeBlasio) administration is one of, if not the most corrupt administrations ever. It is sickening that they dont have the respect for its constituency to get their view before being paid off to make change to land mark streets.

2/3 and 4/5 have far far more need for handicap access

As a resident of 15 Broad St and someone who cares deeply about the historical significance of the southern tip of Manhattan south of Wall St. "New Amsterdam" as it was previously known, I find it unconscionable that the these structures would be approved on Broad Street, especially the one directly across from the Stock Exchange. Why would anyone want to dig another hole into this street when one of the existing stairwells could be re-purposed for an elevator. The thirst for height by the developers of 45 Broad St - and the attendant ego-boosting - should be rejected out of hand. It is the job of the Landmarks commission to protect the historically significant places and that includes the aesthetics of their neighbourhoods, further is it up to Community Board 1 to protect lower Manhattan for all residents and not give in to overaggressive developers... if the developers of 45 Broad want this, let them build it in the lobby of 45 Broad and keep this eyesore out of site.

Staunchly opposed to this proposed subway elevator structure at this location. Can be provided elsewhere, but shouldn't be done so on this block for the 45 Broad St. developer.

I DO NOT THINK THAT THIS ELEVATOR ON OUR CORNER IS SAFE NOR DO I THINK IT IS COMMENSURATE WITH THE BLOCK.

Longtime resident of FiDi; this proposal appears unsafe and defeats the purpose of the security zone.

I am extremely opposed to the placement of the subway elevator near 15 Broad! The residents of this building should not suffer for 45 Broad. Elevators of this nature raise serious safety issues and become disgusting structures that serve no purpose outside of shelter for the homeless.

As a resident and member of this community with 2 little kids living at 15 Broad this will negatively impact our daily routine, safety and the residential aspect of our area being immediately in front of our front and side door. Not to mention the impact on our most valuable investment which is our home and we worked very hard to purchase.

This should not be approved. Feel free to place in front of 45 Broad. We do not need this elevator on this block
