We, as residents of Carlton Woods Creekside, believe our students should remain in attendance at Creekside Forest Elementary School. A realignment of our students to Timber Creek Elementary School poses a risk to their safe and timely arrival on campus, as well as an undue burden on our students to attend school outside of their community campus. Specifically:
1. If our students are rezoned to Timber Creek, we would be the ONLY school in the district to pass TWO other campuses to get to our zoned campus. This is especially egregious for young elementary students. It creates an undue hardship on our neighborhood students that is not equitable across the district.
2. By removing these students from Creekside Forest Elementary and bussing them to Timber Creek, they will no longer be able to attend school in their immediate community; thereby forgoing the opportunity to take advantage of neighborhood routes for walkers and bikers to arrive safely on campus. Additionally, considering the volume of drivers on the heavily traveled Kuykendahl corridor, bus transportation turning left out of the neighborhood is at considerable and undue risk for these young children.
3. Given the traffic patterns on Kuykendahl Road recently documented by TxDOT and the imminent multi-year roadway construction plans, realignment to a different campus would place students in a lengthy commute to school, which is unnecessary given the close proximity and access to Creekside using the Branson Road route.
We respectfully request that the Board deny the committee’s request to implement a realignment of our neighborhood to Timber Creek and keep our students at Creekside Forest Elementary as they are currently zoned.

I support all of the points made in this petition. I also add to point #3 that moving these children to a location which requires a commute across Kuykendahl, a very busy thoroughfare, places them and their parents/siblings in an unneccesarily increased risk to their personal safety.
There is absolutely no reason to send them to a different school when Creekside is so close and accessible.
Do not Rezone CW to Timber Creek. No need. Currently less than 8% of its community attend Creekside Forest, is a very small amount. 50% of CW community have grown up children. Even if we were to double in this % after CW is completely build and occupied, we will always remain at a very low numbers. For the SAFETY of our children we want to continue to use the back gate entrance on "S Branson Creek Way" that puts them so close to Creekside Forest and avoid having to go to DANGEROUS Kuykendahl.
Rezoning Carlton Woods is a terrible idea. Our children can go safely out our Creekside Forest exit to bike to a superior school only a mile from home. Why would we want to put them on Kuykendahl where the traffic is horrendous to go to an inferior school much further from home! And this would seriously affect our property values!!!
This rezoning will affect the entire neighborhood since will lower our property values. Many families with kids that are in a very well ranked school will be affected.
we need to keep our children at Creekside Forest Elementary School!

Dear Tomball ISD Board, Please allow my kids and the kids in our Carlton Woods Creekside community to stay at their current school which is Creekside Forest Elementary School. This is Sarah and Michelle Kane's second year attending Creekside Forest Elementary. They love it and feel at home there. Our decision to live in Carlton Woods Creekside was based significantly on us being zoned to Creekside Forest Elementary. It would be traumatic on them and us, if they had to switch schools.
