The City of La Mirada Public Safety Department has proposed to remove on-street parking on Rosecrans Avenue, from Valley View to De Alcala Drive.

If approved, this will cause all of the cars that normally park on Rosecrans to park on De Alcala instead. This includes the employees and customers of Mr. V's restaurant who currently park on Rosecrans. I am asking for your signature so that if they do go through with removing the on-street parking, we have the option of having De Alcala Drive as a Preferential parking district (PPD) for residents and guests of residents only.
Permits are free, you just have to show proof that you live on De Alcala Drive
and renew your permit each year. Guest permits are free as well. Strict enforcement will allow us to park on our own street. Tickets are issued to non-residents who park there. We just need 2/3 of the residents of this street to sign the petition to have the City of La Mirada even consider to do the PPD parking. Please sign my petition. Thank you!
