Father's should have the same rights as Mother's. I believe in many cases the father's are a better parent than the Mother. Please change these laws and give the father the same rights as the Mother.

Utah needs to wake up & change & they need to make that change so FATHERS HAVE RIGHTS TO THEIR KIDS! It's so sad that just cause a woman gives birth to a child she is automatically give custody of that child & is allowed to use that child as a pawn when in reality she really isn't the better parent! Utah needs to wake up & realize that FATHERS sometimes are the better parent! I believe with all my heart it is best for the child to be with both parents 50/50 no child support! Stop letting these narcissistic women use their children to get what they want, when they want & alienate the these amazing fathers!

From experience being in a step family I saw all the pain my husband went through to see my step daughter. The mother didn't care whether it hurt her daughter or my husband. We had to go all the way to court and show the judge everything she did to prevent him from seeing her. Up to the point of lying and placing a protective order. It's not right. Every chance my daughter's father can see her I let him. Both our daughter's need both parents. It didn't work out between us. That doesn't mean your leaving your child as well. People need to understand this! It cause so much psychological harm to our kids! Please please please take this into consideration and approve this bill!

A change in the Family Court Systems on how co-parenting and Father's involvement are viewed and determined is needed and necessary. Joint Custody and equal parental rights should always be the starting point.

My brother had his daughters stolen from him by a vindictive ex-wife. It has taken 20 years for them to start to reconnect. No father should be put through that by the Family Court System.

As a father who just reached a resolution with my sons mom after thousands of dollars and over a year of very minimal visitation during hearings, I want to see a serious change in family courts! Fathers are just as important as mothers and four days a moth is not enough!

I've been on both sides, children need and should have a right to both parents. 4days a month is not acceptable and not all mothers are good! Time to make the custody equal!
