The addition of pickleball courts to the planning for a pool/recreation centre is another excellent way to help people stay active and healthy and improves the quality of life in this area.

We love playing Pickleball in Parry Sound, it’s a very active, friendly and quite competitive venue. With 4 courts being played, there are still anywhere up to 10 people waiting to get on a court. It’s so good for everyone to keep so active. I challenge the councillors to come out and give it a try and see how much fun it is to get active!

We need a larger, permanent facility for pickleball in this area. Such a great sport for everyone, young and old.
