Unless you drive with your eyes closed, you have noticed that the area known as Erie Plaza and Main Street, directly in front of Brady's By The Station and Starbucks, is an area where traffic congestion reigns. Just feet from the rail crossing and permitting traffic to flow in and out of the parking lot, often causing bottlenecks, this area can be improved and made safer. Perhaps closing the entrance and exit to and from Main Street would dramatically reduce congestion. This would move vehicle traffic up to South Central to re enter Main Street where a traffic light is in place. Perhaps less dramatic changes can accomplish a positive result. Please sign our petition. We are asking for the Mayor and Council to work with us to explore ways to improve this intersection. It starts with the facts - how many cars and trucks enter or exit each day - let's find out. What would the impact be on the South Central area Let's find out. Take a minute and sign our petition so we can begin to address this important issue! Thanks!

I honestly never thought this many people would actually pause to think about how ridiculous that intersection is every single time they try to get a coffee or catch the train. Seeing this momentum honestly makes me feel like maybe the bottleneck isn't just the cars but the people in charge who have been ignoring us for years.

Almost got rear ended there twice last week. Way too much going on in such a small space between the train tracks and the plaza entrance. Needs a fix asap.

Fix this eyesore before someone gets hurt. It is a total disaster right now.
