Currently, there are more than 1 billion people in the world who are chronically hungry. There are dozens of major organizations and campaigns designed to overcome the problem of world hunger. In an effort to raise awareness of the worldwide problem, and to offer the public opportunities to give their time, resources or money supporting an anti-hunger organization and/or campaign, we propose a prime-time television program on a major network, Project: End World Hunger. Each week, the program would feature different organizations and/or campaigns, and what they are doing to address the issue. Information will be given on how we can support each individual organization and/or campaign. We, the undersigned, would support such a program.
