There were two incidents at the Linwood Middle School where students were in possession of an air soft BB style handgun in his book bag. The building was placed on Lockdown and the BB style handgun was secured. The North Brunswick Township Police Department arrived on the scene and secured the soft pellet BB gun. 1. Safety of our children is our priority and we need to educate families and communities about how can we prevent a tragedy like Newtown from happening in our schools. 2. The students are not provided a positive conducive learning environment. 3. There were some kids who were and are scared of what is happenning in the school. There was no mention of counselling and open discussions for these kids.
