Hello my name Cheryl Sims. I live on Chapel Hill Road in Goochland Virginia. Here’s why I need your help. Every time we have some type of weather in our area, it can just be a little wind, and it will causes our power to go out. Some time when our power goes out, it’s out for days and everyone around us has their power including some of our neighbors(the neighbors at the beginning of our road and the ones at the end). We have contact Dominion Virginia Power on so many occasions but they always tell us there is nothing we can do except trim the trees around the power lines. I ask one of the representatives how many times this year(2018) has my power been out and she said “5 times since March”. I explained to her that I pay my bill just like all the other customers they have and I don’t understand why something isn’t being done to rectify this situation. She told me just like countless other representatives at Dominion Virginia Power, that someone will contact me. That was last week, I have yet to hear from any one from their company. My neighbors and myself are truly fed up with the situation and we need your help. You can help us by signing this petition to get some type of resolution to this pressing matter. The more signatures we get, the more they will pay attention to the severity of this problem and make them want to help the people on Chapel Hill Road, some of the residents have health conditions and have machines that they use to keep them operational.
