Don't Limit IDW to just the characters from teh games please. The freedom Fighters have existed for as long as Sonic himself has, for these characters to dissapear to be replaced by only characters from the game would be a travesty.

I didn't come to the sonic franchise like most people did. I grew up playing sonic 2 and sonic R but those games didn't have a world or fleshed out characters to invest me.
when I was 15 I got into the sonic comics right around the same time I started playing the Sonic Adventure games. I can tell you that as someone who was obsessed with Shadow the Hedgehog back then...I have out-grown the so called "lore" of the Sega games.
I still legitimately enjoy the stories of the comics to this day, in fact I'm looking at the 22 volumes of the sonic archive books and the seven Saga series books I own while typing this.
I know that Archie has lost the Sonic license due to financial problems, and IDW is going to re-launch the series. But from what I gathered, when they said "stay tuned" when people asked them about the FF's role in the series, I can't help but feel that they don't know how and or if they should use them. (thankfully they are aware people want them, so that's a start)
I anyone from IDW is reading this please listen to me.
Sally and the others are a staple of the comics. They are one of the prime reasons as to why this series is the longest and most successful video games based comic ever.
Sally's back story and motivation makes more sense to me then Shadow's ever did, Nicole and Bunnie are also loveable, Uncle Chuck would make a great addition to the series as well, and Rotor only got better as the series progressed.
There's some so much more I want to add ( I would love to go on), but right now all I hope at this point is that some one listens.
