Cant believe ORU. would let Mr. Trump's, bigoted speech into a school that seems too be tolerant and show love and kindness. We are all human, it not the color of skin or your religion, it's how we treat one another.

Just because someone was born into money definitely doesn't make them a genius. Especially when he's part of the same corrupt system that had put this country in a financial hardship it is still trying to overcome. Definitely not against anyone making the most of their opportunities and actually being a positive influence within our communities, but those who were born into money and feel like their above the masses and can say and do whatever they want about whoever they want is disgusting and dangerous. The fact that so many people actually follow this racial biggot is scary in itself. Unfortunately typical of my home state. If anyone really thinks this man is a Christian they are getting a good fooling. This man has never prayed in his life. He knows nothing of the Bible & does not speak like a Christian. I guess you do not have to be a Christian to be President, we have not had a non Christian yet, but if you are not a Christian then how will you run this country? Of all places; ORU is one place that should not be welcoming a man who is clearly not speaking words of tolerance, acceptance and love. Trump is a man of ego, fascism, racism and xenophobia, everything that is opposite of "Christ like" behavior, thought and action. Trump is a fear monger and preaches it to the masses. BUT ORU also has a history of banishing men, such as, Carlton Pearson for having his own interspeerations of biblical scripture so maybe ORU is the place to hold this rally. (?) But I can't stand by idly while a man of this nature(a man with a heart of stone from my perspective) is welcomed into my hometown so I proudly signs this petition.

I fully support this petition and the reasons given for issuing it. It's not about the politics, it's about the extreme discrimination and offense that Trump displays every time he opens his mouth. I sincerely hope this petition receives enough signatures and action is taken to prevent his presence on our campus.

You all are a bunch of Hippocrates and you use religion to your benefit. Not one of you practice what ORU stands for EVERY day of your lives. So let it go. The Mabee center is use for many venues that are not what ORU stands for. That's life. You don't have to go hear him speak, you can wait for Clinton to come to town and stand behind a national know liar. Now go to church and ask forgiveness.

Mr. Trump has shown that he doesn't seem to care about other people feelings with the remarks he made on his campaign trail. ORU is a diverse campus with people from different backgrounds and religions and for Mr. Trump to speak at the Mabee Center would be very scary because there is a chance he could say something like he did about Muslims, and if he did ORU will be remembered for a phrase that a non rational man said instead of being remembered as a great Christian institution that's stands up for all religion here and abroad
