I have been reading through the notes people are leaving along with their signatures and it is clear that Erik left his mark on so many of us. Each story shared about his lectures reminds me exactly why we are putting this effort forward for him before his final semester ends.

Seeing so many of you join this effort to honor Erik confirms exactly how much his decades of teaching have meant to our community. I am truly moved by the response and the stories you have shared about his influence on your academic lives.

Husker ennå forelesningene hans fra noen år tilbake. utrolig kunnskapsrik og engasjerende hver eneste gang.
Erik har vært helt essensiell for studiet i Tromsø. En fantastisk foreleser som fortjener all anerkjennelse han kan få før han går av.
