PRISONERS ARE BEING MURDERED IN NEW YORK STATE PRISONS

Change needs to come. Prison is to reform and rehabilitate people not to torture people. How can you “correct” someone to go back into the real world if you aren’t treating them like human beings? You aren’t bringing about correction like the title of the job you have so why take the job? There should be a new evaluation test for C.Os! A lot of them have mental health issues and personal issues at home that they try to release on incarcerated individuals. Prison reform is an absolute must!

I was beaten in Mary correctional facility my first 3 hours in the prison and they wrote it up as a 2 man fight I still have the ticket and the other inmate will tell you the same thing i wasn’t able to use the phone and then they put me in another dorm where a correctional officer tried to set me up with a controlled substance that I never seen before I spoke to IG and nothing ever came out of the situation …

People are sent to prison to be rehabilitated for freedom and the guards are deciding people’s fate by killing them we might as free prisoners because at this point your sentencing people to the death penalty the way officers are killing prisoners in nys corrections
