The printer in the studio was said to be under repair until last week.
It returned and was "upgraded" with a charging system.

Why should HKU not charge us for printing in the studio:

1. We can't photocopy or scan using it
We can only print from our USB drives because of the upgraded system.

2. Other schools don't charge
Students of UC Berkeley and ______ aren't charged for printing in the studio.

3. Printing costs
Already wasting a lot of money on our models, we waste more by printing.

4. Entering our PINs takes time
During peak hours such as before assignment deadlines and studio reviews, this causes problems.

5. We can't use our own paper
Use thin paper instead of cardstock paper for your next portfolio. We can't set the paper size in this new system for unusual sizes anymore.

6. It worked well before
The printer has been completely fine. The system now is an inconvenient solution to earn money from students.
